Blue Mtn Report

Went today with my neighbor to Blue Mtn. We brought home 12 keepers the largest 2.5lbs a 2lber and a few over 1.5. Not a one of the females had any eggs. The water was 66 by miday. Caught close to 30 more small crappie all were 2.5 ft deep in 3-6 fow in buckbrush. It was a fun day we have been panning since I moved next door 10 yrs ago:o we finally made it!

Water very high but clear. It is over the ramp at Ashley but it is just right to fish the buckbrush.

Sounds like you had a good day. It sure is fun pulling 'em out of that buckbrush...takes me back to the glory days of Midway. Thanks for the report.

Cuaght 24 more nice one over there today (Friday)! 2 Ft deep on minnows in the buckbrush. Sure has been fun hope the weather holds. The ones today all had eggs unlike the ones from Wed. Several over 2lbs the rest 1 1/2.
