    Smile Okay Landing (millwood)

Crappie are still biting, but slow. I caught my limit in two very short afternoons, a couple of hours each day. The temperature did drop and slow the crappie to an almost stop. The lake rose about two feet to regain what it lost last week. The Corps. is expecting the lake to rise some more. Water is muddy to some degree

Crappie are biting very light and it is a waiting game to catch them. Nice ones still being caught along with some smaller ones. Wind a little brisk today, but pretty warm later afternoon. Crappie expected to resume spawning later this week if it warms up

Way to go, thanks for the report. I was there last Friday evening but the wind had everything all muddied up. Did you catch them around the cypress trees or just fishing along the tram?

That's a good report. I've heard that just out of Okay landing is a very good place to catch them on Millwood.

Looks like we're in for a warm week and the spawn will get back on track!
