    Default Peckerwood/Arkansas River


    Fished Peckerwood Friday caught a lil bit of everything on minnows and black and chart 1/32 oz jig with a pole. Lake is High and Muddy had to get back in the bush to get anything at all but still caught a few nice ones. If you like big bream this place has em and bring your YoYo's if you like to yoyo they are getting them on peckerwood real good on yoyo's now. Sat caught a limit on the river in a back waters in a old river oxbow near cadron creek right next to the bank on rosey reds and slip bobbers. CP

    Its a private lake off of 63 south of Hazen, on the road to Stuttgart just south of Tollville to the east. You access from a dirt road and last time I was there it was $7.00 per head per day.
