Default Layed it on em this morning

Got off work this morning, could'nt stand it, overcast, gentle breeze, water temps in the low sixtys. Called up Dad and we headed out into the lake from my house to find em. Saw several storks standing around some live cypress in the upper main lake arm of Parlarm creek on Lake Conway. Then started seeing shad flipping all over. Started verticle jigging with yellow and white super jigs in 4-6 feet of water around the cypress. Fished from about 7-11 am then left em bitting, needed some sleep, but dad wanted to keep going. No other boats around, had these all to ourselfs. Think the fish are starting to transition from the creeks to main lake live cypress and coves. Great day on the water with my Dad. Can't wait to try this spot agian. Crappiepro

Man-o-man. Good lookin' fish and a wonderful day with your Dad. How much better can it get?

When my Daddy was alive, we fished all the time it seemed. I have a lot of old b/w photos of fish we/he caught but not too many of us together on those trips. I have the memories emblazoned into my mind and that in itself is a treasure.

I just wish I had a few more fishin' photos of us together. SO...take a bunch of photos of the two of you. Those photos will be a treasure down the road.

That's a great picture CP. I treasure the time I have now fishing with my son. Sometimes we forget that "TIME" is our most valuable commodity. We should give as much of it as possible to our loved ones. Looks like you've found some good'uns in L Conway....
