Don't you love it??? That's the thrill of the chase....figuring out how to catch something that don't want to be caught. Enjoy it while you can..........

this spring has been driving me mad. Fish are on then there off. There shallow one day and then deep the next. When will all this end![]()

Hopefully it will get more predictable as the temps warm up.![]()
"Fletch had a catch of a lifetime and he was even standing up when he caught it!:p"
First and foremost learn to love being on the water, and the act of fishing, not so much the catching, this will stop the madness.CP

THAT'S what I'm Talkin' about!!!! Some folks on the water right now act like they only have a few weeks left to be able to catch Crappie and are in a frenzy. A couple of the lakes I have been on lately have looked like opening day of deer season in Southeast Arkansas with boats doing more running back and forth across the lake than they do fishing. Little do they know that the spawn is all but over with on quite a few of these ArkLaMiss area lakes. Settle down and just enjoy being on the water and trying different techniques and presentations . . . . Sometimes I think I learn as much or more on the days I don't catch anything .... because learning what doesn't work is just as important as learning what does. I'll be glad when the "Crappie aren't biting" anymore.
