    Default Greers 3-30


    Went up to Greers today, the water was 3 to 6 degrees colder than 2 weeks ago, the wind was just below hurricane force and the fish didn't bite. Went up Devils Fork to get out of the wind and about a 1/2 mile above the Prim bridge it turned to mud. Came back out and fished around the Edgemont bridge and Devils Fork ramp, but only caught a couple of small bass and bream. Need some warm weather.

    Fished Hill Creek Sunday morning caught 4 before my trolling motor quit on me. 3 of them were between 1.5 and 2.0 lbs. Will give them a try again this weekend.

    I know what you mean Sam. I tried it yesterday and only caught one crappie and a few dink bass. I talked to man who said he had caught a few before the wind kicked up, and then he never got another bite. Man the wind was fierce! Sorry to hear about your trolling motor Creek.
