    Lake Erling gates are open for 5 ft drawdown water level is up about 2ft due to recent rains I have not tried since saturday to catch a fish caught a few nice fish but today I bet the crappie are as confused as I am as soon as I get boat house and boats ready for low water I think I will get ready for deer season and worry about crappie during the breaks.

    Went fishing anyway ended up with seven enough for supper water was still rising swift current in walkers creek and full of trash but fish were there just not many or great in size.

    Thanks for the report, noslab. Cypress on the rise also, even though gates open for drawdown. I don't hunt so I am planning on spending some quality time on Erling this winter.

    Smile 21 today

    Caught 21 today all on meatgetter jigs white silver chtruse all were caught on tops in 10 to 11 ft of water
