Well,

With all the rain, I decided to cancel the fishing portion of my table rock lake trip. rain, high winds and a low in the mid 50's will not be the best thing for the wife to spend a weekend trip on the water, so we are going shopping, and I'll go to my meeting this weekend. I did get a chance to get on the water here at home yesterday & I caught numbers of predominately short fish. I got my jigs from skip at Crappie Jigs Home Page & decided to use these colors.

I caught a BUNCH of dinks, crappie & bream mixed in cypress trees and brush in sun & shade, no real pattern apparent. water temp was in the 63-65 range. My only keepers were a black bass, a white & black crappie, neither of the crappie were over 12 inches. The day was a little frustrating, but it beats working, and I did hook fish, no I didn't get skunked. It was like a football game in which you never punted, got close enough for field goals, and was 3 for 12 on field goal tries, winning an ugly game 9 - 0. Here are the pics of the 3 keeper fish!
