Will the crappie be hitting pretty good on this lake this weekend?

Might want to give Jack's Isle Marina and ask them. They should know. I'd bet it's a bit early for prime fishin'.

By the way, welcome to the forum, davis and sevier!

They were starting to bite real good before the cold spell. The water temps dropped 10 to 12 degrees and really slowed things down. Water is still muddy in places but there is clean water to the found. I haven't been since Sunday evening, only caught 4 in couple hours, mainly just checking water levels and clarity. This week of sunshine should get things started again, I hope.

That's good to know, weekends. Obviously you KNOW where to go!

Below the dam is a very very good place to fish. Last year the fish cops busted two local outlaws when they were attempting to bring 150 (I said ONE HUNDRED FIFTY) crappie out of there. It's a good thing there's only one way in and outta there.

Keep us posted. I know it's a great lake but it's 70 miles south of me and I just can't tear meliddleoself away from the 'home' lake. :D

Hmmm . I wonder how much those 150 crappie cost ? I see looseing count and going over by a few but that look to much like greed to me. The luck i been haveing i don't have to wore about going over.
