I met my Dad yesterday morning in Devil's Fork area, launched into heavy fog and slow motored across to some little point that had some tree's and 23' of water and started catching crappie imediately. We did well until about 11 am, then slow until about 4 pm then caught them again up until close to dark.
I don't know the lake, don't know even the name of the coves we were fishing! One had an island about 3/4 of the way back in it.
Kept 37 crappie with the biggest 15 1/4" and also kept 6 Kentucky bass 13"-15" fishing an assortment of lures and minnows (chartreuse grub was best I think)
One of the finer crappie days we've had, no walleye caught, only 1 little white bass.
Wish I could go back todayI'm taking the 7 year old son on Saturday morning.

What happened to the walleye population?
Heck on Norfork I bet I'd have caught a couple the way we were fishing yesterday ........
Good job stealthycat....I'm glad you had a good trip with your dad. I'm almost over my back surgery and hope to get up there soon. How deep were you fishing? I don't really know about the eye's as I usually catch them by accident. Thanks for the report.
Had a friend and his buddy who went bass fishing on Greer's yesterday, and they caught 25.
I had 8 between 12" and the big 15" one ........ filleted out I think I had 28 crappie that gave me 5 pounds even of boneless fillets !
Hopefully going back tomorrow ...
