Yea. For 3000 ea they better be good. They really are. Just no one these days has room for them. I have a set of K-horns in my room room at the store. They are killer. And just $8000 a pair. Don't sell many of them. Big thing now is in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.

Come on down and I'll hook you up with a set.

Welcome, welcome, welcome! It's always nice to have additional input from a fella that fishes DeGray.

I sure do hope you get to wear that new boat out this Spring and that your health issues are behind you!

I grew up in Benton and moved to Hot Springs 14 years ago. I'm now retired and enjoy every bit of it. I have not fished DeGray in a long time but will have to venture down to Point Cedar (15 miles from me) sometime soon.

    Welcome again to the forum.

    Thanks,
Got the La scalas along with some cornwalls and some Heresys, Almost bought a nice pair of cornerhorns last night. Fought the urge since my La scalas are set up in my garage and I only use them about every couple of weeks. Cornwalls are a pretty good compromise. the Heresys would be enough for most folks. Still jonesin' for those hoens. last night was my best chance for a nice pair but I blew it. Want the horns and a single Belle for a center to make a fair surround sound system.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Thanks for the kind words folks, I appreciate it. Wuz plannin' to get the boat out this weekend but I'm kinda a 'wuss' when it comes to cold weather (fishin' or otherwise  ). Have never liked cold weather even thru tours in North Dakota, Alaska, & Thule, Greenland when I was in the Air Force, but I could handle it. Now when the temps drop below 50* or so it just 'hurts' too much. I see the daffodils, forsythia, & bradford pears are bloomin' so it won't be long now 'til the pollen starts covering the water in the little coves at DeGray. That's usually a good sign that the crappie are goin' shallow there. I really like fishin' DeGray when the dogwoods are bloomin' in th' woods'n hills around the lake. I've caught crappie there year 'round but spring just makes it more fun (for me anyway ). Hopefully I'll be able to get out next week & maybe have a few pix to post.

I live in Benton myself over in Heritage Farms off Boone road close to Alcoa road, give me a call at 249-8050 and we can go and find a fish.
