    Default LM Barnett/Boat Ramp Location

Boat Ramp is located on Hwy 365 about halfway between Mayflower and Maumelle Arkansas. Coming From LR on I-40 get off at the Morgan Exit take a left keep your eyes too the right very quickly you will see a big white Building thats says LAKE LIQUOR Bold Letters, after you pass the liquor store the first traffic light you come to take a right this is HWY 365 follow it for about 5 miles untill you come to a bridge. You will know its the bridge you want because it will have a railroad tressle and the Arkansas river within sight on the left. The boat ramp is on the right just before you cross the bridge.

This place is always a good bet just after the water receeds from big rains and starts to stabalize it gets loaded with crappie trying to come up it from the river and fish getting blown out from the Lake Conway dam. Flooded right now LM so dont waste your time coming but when it starts to stableize Look Out it should get hot especially after this warm rain. Get there early as possible to hit the lay downs first and lay it on em. Good Luck CrappiePro

    CrappiePro,

Thanks for telling me where to go, LOL!

But mostly, thanks for the pics and reports.... I wouldn't have been out there to catch even those dinks if you hadn't inspired me with your reports!

(I made 5 trips to the Ark River in the Toadsuck area in the previous week and never got a bite- no one else was getting any fish either)

I've bass fished through that stretch bunches of times and always thought it looked good for crappie. One thing to remember--don't leave anything in your truck that you care about at that ramp. Seems like there's always fresh piles of broken glass in the parking lot. I haven't been there in a couple of years, so maybe the law watches it a little better now than they did.

I'm really looking forward to the Dix Creek report. That's probably my favorite part of the lake to fish.

Man it's good to see these great fishin' reports increasing in frequency. That tells me, along with the water's warming, that the time is not far away.

    Thanks for sharing with us!
