    What do you guys think this week of warm rain will do for the fishing next weekend? help or hurt?

    If we don't just get a flood it shouldn't hurt any thing. Will be a fairly warm rain so may help.

    One things for sure....them fish ain't gonna get no wetter! But seriously, Jerry's right I think. Short of a flood it shouldn't hurt a thing.

    Warm rain and a few warm days in the winter when the water has been at or near it's coldest will turn them on. They should feed more aggressively. Present your bait shallower when you start on a brushpile and then work your way deeper into it can produce more fish than normal from a single spot. Fish normal winter staging areas but don't neglect to check shallower spots later in the afternoon.
