    Default Lake Hinkle

Just got off the phone with an old business customer living in Fort Smith, Ar.
He was telling me his neighbor caught some big crappie at Lake Hinkle, which is some 12 miles southwest of Waldron, Ar. In all my years fishing Arkansas lakes, never fished Hinkle. Anyone here ever fished there and what report can you give on the crappie in the lake?

My business friend only fished there couple times, and knows nothing about the lake, what type of structure, etc.

Yes lots of stumps and underwater trees! I got a deep scratch in my hull down there last year! I idle everywhere in that lake! Caught a few bass but no crappie last year in Feb.
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
