I'm rigging a 1542 wareagle, and I got the folks at Hi-Tec to make me a rod holder with six holders and a short stand. I haven't used it but it looks good.

That's great news to hear. I really prefer the shorter risers, and that makes me more eager to upgrade now that I see this. Did you give Scott the measurements that you wanted or does he have a standard short stand?

ONEON designed his holders with two risers where the T-bar is bent in the middle to accomodate the curve of his bow that really works great. The extra support makes it rock solid and it looks custom made for his boat. I think Scott can fabricate anything you could think up. I like the 18" risers because I don't have to reach and bend over as far to grab the poles. I have tried the low ones and reaching down low to grab the poles can put a strain on the back after a few hours....I think it is a little quicker also. The 18" risers are rock solid with four holders each. I guess it may also be what you get used to.

All of you will love the Hi-Tek's and yes Scott will work with you on customizing your setup. You won't find that kind of service from any of the other guys!!!!!!!!

He makes a shorter riser for pontoons, so I had him use that riser and make a longer cross-bar for six holders. I think it will work real good for the smaller boat. I have two four-pole rigs on my larger boat---really like them.
