Slip, thanks for the compliments...its really neat to see the transformation...if you are interested in getting you boat done sometime send me a pm, I'm actually wanting to start doing some of this for a little extra (fishing) income...lol. The one I'm doing now hopefully will get some attention. How did your trip with Jerry and Darryl go?? Its amazing to me how they can catch fish when no one else can, would be pretty awsome to get to follow them around for a while and pick their brains!

Agrihawg...you gotta look at something when you don't catch fish!!! :D
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 25:15

Dang, Doug. Are you tryin' to cut out all your fishin' time?:D

I'd like to see some of the hull designs that you come up with. I haven't seen a big manufacturer put out a design yet, that I'd want...and had even thought about building my own 1860 from a plain hull, but won't have the time to do it next year. Sounds like you're the man I need to see. Be sure to keep me updated.

I am kicking the idea around of trading ol' yellow in and buying a pontoon for summer time fun and getting another tiller or maybe a stick steer setup for fishing. So I could be in the market for something soon. I would like to be able to buy both boats at one place, but I don't have to. The fishing boat would need to hang a 40 thru a 60hp. The toon 90 to 135hp. Just thinking at this point.

    Hey Brad,

I may have a buyer for ol' yellower. But if I do what I'm thinking about, it will be just be flat bottoms custom built. May not do any motors at this time. Plan was to get custom made jon/crappie boats and use there motor or used motors.

Just want people to be able to get whatever they want in a boat.

    Hey, Slipcork

I sent you my cell number in a PM, we should talk. I love the idea of a custom boat and I can mount the motor myself!
