    Default Weekend crappie

A friend and I went to Chicot friday and had a decent day. We kept 24 crappie 10.5 to 14 in. and probably threw back 6. Went again Sat., but was a lot slower, only kept 9. Didn't go today, too windy. Caught them on jigs, 5-6 ft. deep around structure.

    Saturday's fish.

Bobby with a couple of nice ones.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

That's a good looking mess of white perch Jerry. I just love the flavor and texture of a white crappie.....nothing else can touch it. I heard they were catching a few in the gravel pit and in Connelly. The wind kept me off LM today for sure.

Good looking catch Jerry, I'm off this week so I'm getting ready to hook to the boat and head out to the lake. 13 Deg. no wind so we'll see what happens.
