    Default Good day on Greeson

Had a good day on Greeson yesterday. Ended up with 40 fish. Jerry put it to me though with 60. Got plenty of days open on my calendar, gift certificates make a great Christmas present and don't forget we usually catch our biggest crappies in late winter, early early spring (End of January thru the first of March). See ya'll on the water...

Great stuff, Darryl! You pros continue to amaze me with your catches.

Maybe someday I'll learn to catch fish like that.

DANG...I should've come back on saturday...lol. I didn't go because I figured the wind would kick my tail on the piles....still learning to control the boat while watching three rods, baiting a hook, and watching the fish finder. I've heard people say that crappie fishing is for older guys that just want to sit in the boat and not really do much...I tell you what. You get all your hooks in the water, with a little wind, let a fish get on, or better yet...be redoing a rig, let a fish get on, while keeping the boat where it needs to be, grab the net get the fish in without getting tangled with the other lines and not stepping on the rod on the deck...:D lol. LOTS OF EXCITMENT!!

I was out friday and saw Darryl and Jerry...man it was a gorgous day. I ended up with like 14...2 bass...3 bream (one 10")...8 crappie (up to 12 and down to "dink":D)...and about a 7# cat..(caught on ultra light with the first wolly booger jig I tied!!) Now that was cool!! Was a nice day...I needed it! I think I might have got AgriHawg a job from one of his students parents too!! lol :D
