Very nice fish L.A. Hope to get to Cane Creek when I get a chance. How is the crappie during temperature around 50-65 degrees and 40's in the morning?

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
Joined the site today.Been fishing Ouachita for striped bass. Got to old to wrestle those big fish. Can fight 2-3# crappie all day long. Meet la stumpjumper on Cane creek last Friday. Fishing was slow, got one bite from 8:oo until 2:30, caught it and was a good one{2# 10oz}. Have enjoyed reading everyones post. Will try to contribute. Will pull my fifth-wheel to Pecan Grove in Feb. for about 3 months. Will fish Grand and Chicot. Hope everyone will have a good spring.
