Glad to see some of them Nimrod slabs again. I know it's been a tough summer for y'all, but hopefully we'll see many more of these pics over the next month. How's the water lookin' over there and what color were they hittin'?

Water is bad stained from being up in the timber so long. The level is nearing 342 msl and for those unfamilar with the lake ''watch out""! There are stumps in mid lake just under the surface in places.
We been catching ours on pink/white 2'' umbrella tubes on a 1/8 oz leadhead. Fish seem to be best up river with the wind. Catching most about 8 ft of water around wood.

I prefer spending my money on a cold one .:D I'm not a fan of those nibbles, if I was going to tip my jig it would be with live bait. I don't feel handicapped much without minnows or nibbles.
