Hey Tree, Just got back to the computer, I can tell you that if you don't know where to go, the lake can be a little intimidating since it has very little visible cover left.
You always can catch a few good fish by tightling minnows about 10 to 11 feet deep along the river channel edges. Go out over the deep water until your depthfinder says about 15 feet and then turn back in to the river channel edge.
Most of our most productive brushpiles are in 8 to 10 feet of water.
Expect to catch a lot of small crappie but there are definately some hogs out here. We catch a lot of 2's and a few 2 1/2 lbers each year.
Top jig colors here are Pink/White, Pink/Chart., Red/Chart., and Black/Chart.![]()
