The first surgery was done by Dr. Richard Peek. I was worse after that surgery than I was before it. The second time I hurt mt back I was at work, and I had to wait on the worker comp insurance to tell me what I could and could not do. So I was in bed flat of my back for 6 week living on pain pills. Finally was approved for surgery and it was done by Dr. Ron Williams at St. Vincents and I woke up felling better. After 15 months I still have some leg pain and numbness in my foot but I am able to fish so I happy with that. I was one of Dr. Williams last patients. His last day was my 6 week follow-up visit. I have always heard that your first back surgery leads to your second one so my advise is if you can live without the first one you are money ahead.
