    Default Green Carp

My son and I went Bass fishing yesterday in my canoe up the river to avoid the crowds. Nimrod is falling about 15'' per day now. I hope fishing is good in about a week when it gets to normal levels. Here is some pictures of our catch. Not Crappie but beats fighting crowds and falling water. I caught a big Drum and a couple of cats. We kept 2 limits of Bass and released a bunch of small ones in addition to Green Sunfish. A friend wanted to try Drum as poor boy shrimp so we filleted it. Not sure what it weighed as my hand scales stop at 10lbs. Hope to have a Crappie story with pictures soon.:D

Nice catch, Nimrod. Glad to hear the Lake is getting back to normal pool. Went to Greers yesterday afternoon and it has dropped about 18". Needs about 20 more feet out of it.
