    Default Sugarloaf Crappie Part II

Went last minute to sugarloaf took the oldest and youngest with 2 dozen or so minnows on them unpainted jigheads. We caught 33 with 2 minnows left before dark. Fished for 2 hours and saw a friend leaving when we arrived and he had 19. Another boat had about a dozen and they where using jigs. All of thier crappie where around 9 inches. The biggest we caught was 12.25 inches. and the action was hot and heavy. I couldn't make lee creek. TJ I'm going back to the Sawmill in a week so I'll have my weekends off again and we'll have to meet up again.

nice set of papermouths. Are you on Greers or up some other lake? I know of sugarloaf on Greers Ferry, but I'm not sure where any more landings with that name are. Nevertheless, very nice job.

It is a Game and Fish lake 20 minutes south of Fort Smith. Private land surrounds this lake.
