    Default Morgan Point today (Pics)

I went to M. Point today and the water is still 5 ft. over the dam, but the water looks great. A lot of new structure to fish. I caught a lot of fish today, but not a lot of big crappie. I got into a school of white bass and caught them on every cast for probably 30 min. A lot of fun on an ultralight.
Only had 8 keeper crappie, and 2 bass and a bluegill. It was really windy today, but that made it tolerable with the heat today. The water should be down in the banks in about a week. The crappie were caught on chartruse jig and some on a chartruese roadrunner.

    Todays catch.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial day.

Yeah game and fish checked me, guess I had my stuff right. Nice catch on the bluegill, there sure are some big ones in M. Point. Welcome to the site and look forward to your reports and posts.

Hey Harold, Morgan Point is an oxbow off the lower Arkansas river. You go east of Dumas to Pendleton bridge and take a right before the bridge and go down to the Wilbur D Mills Dam. The launch at M.P. is just before you get to the dam on the right. It's a good fishing lake, give it a try. Let us know how you do.
