    Default Side Finder

Anyone have a new side scanning unit from Hummingbird? I sure would like to have a unit if they work as good as they say. Anyone interested in a trip on Nimrod who has one ? I would really like to see one in operation.:D

I have one and I don't quite have an opinion on it yet! I haven't caught enough fish since I've bought it to say if it is legit! I have the 540. The fish under the boat show black and the fish off to the side show clear. This did work at a smaller lake for me with bluegill. I was on a bunch of clear fish up close to the dam so we started casting away from the dam and instantly started catching fish!

I think he is refering to a 997 or1097. That is some high powered new technology.
