I had a red leg tarantula that I kept as a pet for 8 years. She lived a good long life and was a lot of fun to have when I was in the dorm in college. They are easy to care for and clean, and just neat things to have. Glad to see that there are folks out there that are getting them for the kids too. Good luck with it.
