If you spend a little bit of time on Beaver right now you can still find some fish. I went out on Thurs and caught 23 crappie and 5 LM. Two of the crappie were 14" and another 4 were 12". One of the females had already spawned out and the others were trying. I was fishing some pockets that had a surface temp of 68 degrees. The fish I caught were in 8' of water and were about 1' deep in the brush. I also saw a couple wall hanger GAR. There were a few crusing the pockets that were every bit of 5' long. I sure wish I had my bowfishing rig in the boat with me. I will surely carry it along in the future.
