    Default Should I Reschedule??? Beaver

We've had a May 3rd-9th trip to Beaver/Rogers/Eureka Springs planned for over 4 months.
Planned on Bass/Crappie/Striper along with a big dose of the local History/dining/sightseeing.

    Should we reschedule?

I don't think we'll get a good picture of the lake at this time. We will need to make amends with the motel and guide. We've spoken with the guide service and They'll get back to us by Wed if they are even going to be going out.

We're thinking of resceduling for Sept or Oct. Should be nice and the lake may be near normal pool.

    What would be your recommendations?

I'm catching limits of crappie on a smaller lake close to Beaver. Some of the crappie we have caught have been 15" and we have also caught some nice 9" bluegill! That is where I've been taking my clients. Lots of Crappie have been caught on Beaver also but it's hard to get to them in a big boat. A smaller boat or waders are the best bet! They are back in the woods doin there thing far away from the lake!
Water conditions should improve by June, but the fishing is not bad! Look me up when your here, we can fish the smaller lake and catch some nice fish!
    Tight Lines!

    Thank you J.T.

I fish quite often. (Fri-Sat & Sun this past weekend,, cold, windy Illinois weather. And not very productive). It's not like this is our only trip. But it is/was going to be a real cool spring trip. We bring our own boat. And had planned on cruising a deep clear Beaver Lake

The question is, Do I want to fish Beaver Lake next week, or visit when she's looking/acting her best? The NWA newspaper had a warning for Beaver this morning, warning of things afloat and adrift.

I hate to miss out on some,,unusual fishing,,. but maybe it would be good to visit Rogers when the lake is at its best.

My wife has family in Possum Grape. They have that big old antique auto parts place out on 367. They told her to stay home! So she's a bit leary.

I'm leaning towards rescheduling for late summer early fall and looking for another place for next week. Maybe someplace closer to save on gas.

If you want, feel free to pm me and we can talk about things

    thanks again.
