Hope you have a great trip and enough gas money to get back home. Got the decals and they look great on my boat and truck. Tight lines
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
That's a sweet lookin' truck...but I wanna see the boat!
Hah...I know y'all will have a good weekend. You couldn't find a better pair of guides...trust me, any crappie you catch will just be a bonus...![]()
I might see you there if you stay thru Saturday. I'm coming up early Saturday morning and may stay thru Sunday. Hope Jerry puts you on some fish.
Hope you have as good luck as I always do on my yearly to ARK.
If Jerry can't put you on fish, nobody can. Even with the massive cold front, high water, and muddy conditions, he got me and my group on fish in Feb.
You Can Make a Difference!
TeamAdcraft had a good day on Greeson today:
We looked shallow and deep all morning for just a few small crappie but the big ones moved into the shallows in the afternoon and finally started looking for a snack.
Lake Greeson is finally back down to "Full Pool" and it looks like the crappie will still have a chance to finish spawning. The black females are just about laid out but the white females still have a lot of eggs. None of the males showed any signs of worn tails so I don't think they've been fanning beds much, which doesn't surprise me with the water level going way up and then falling back down. It's amazing how much weight they all have lost in the last 6-weeks. It's very obvious that they been under a lot of stress and haven't been eating well.
Here's some close-ups of some of the "biguns":
I think I converted several "short-pole" fisherman into "long-pole" fisherman today.
We had to "Pitch and Drop" in and around very thick buck brush to get the gooduns and they all picked up on the technique real quick.
Thanks guys for a great day!
