I've been off Ouachita for 20 or so years. Can you tell me what some of those colors are?

Tennessee Shad, John Deere, Popsicle, and white are the colors I've always done well with. With the water as stained as it is now, I couldn't get any to work. I've always liked black/chartreuse on darker colored water, and it was the only that i could get a bite on this weekend.

Froggerz, The crappie I caught were on grass beds, in the center of pockets, and around docks in water from five to forty feet deep. I found the blind hog method to be productive this year. I'm not sure how they caught them but I saw a big group of guys with 21 monster stripers, so they must be good right now.

Okay, I'll bite on the "blind hog method." What is that?
    I think I got one...

    Hey Woohdog

I think he means that even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while.

Ahhhh, I've even heard that before...just didn't put 2 and 2 together. I was picturing barehook noodling for crappie or something. :D

That's it stumpy. With the weather and the water being so weird, I looked shallow and deep and caught a few everywhere but never could find a pattern that held up from one place to the next. I'm sure the seasoned Ouachita guys could figure them out, but with my once a year trips, I rely heavily on luck.
