Thread: Spawn?

Anyone caught any females that appeared to have spawned?

I caught several Sunday at my house that were gaunt and thin through the belly like that had. Wondering if anyone else has seen this?

Did catch some big redears that looked like they were going to explode with eggs. Guess they will be getting on the nest in another few weeks.

I caught some bigger females this past weekend in Conneryl bayou that had spawn most of their eggs and caught some smaller females that still had full sacks and lots of blood veins. I think that some that are in some water that has warmed up a lot have and others in the same lake that haven't. And these lake with river water in them will warm up slower, giving us an extended spawn
