I'v been back in WI. after my yearly trip down to ARK. Arrived the last wk of Feb. and returned the 2nd wk of MAR. Weather left a little somewthing to be desired at times but managed again to have good fishing at White Oak, Bragg and Gurdon. Got a 5+ lb largemouth on my 4 wgt 7' flyrod w/a 3 lb tippet and did tire him and got him in and put him back in (at) Gurdon. Did have my picture taken by the Gurdon Times while fishing one day. Still can't get over the numbers of crappie that came into the pond at the White Oak Lake camground. Limits of 30 were taken from the shore easily - most 12 inches avg. and lots of people taking them when the word spread. Trip back, lots of flooding as you know in ARK. and Mo. and parts of IL. Central IL north to my house snow squalls and as of today we are still ice fishing and under snow, but hopefully it will melt. See ya next year.
