    Smile Looking for a Fishfinder

I'm looking for a inexpensive fishfinder. Any suggestions? I've looked on EBAY, Academy Sports & Gander Mountain. I'm not sure what really fits my need. I don't need color monitor. Basically, water temp, depth and where are the fish!

This one does the job, is inexpensive, and available at almost every Wal Mart:

Personally, I would get the color. You can't believe the difference!

I have the Eagle Cuda 172, just $10 more than the one above. It is great. I have never had one problem with it, and it reads great. It has a lot of features on it as well.

The Cuda series of depth finders work great. I found the best price at Academy Sports.

I got mine at Academy as well. They also have a no question money back policy. You take it back and they give you a new one. No questions asked.

to me you cannot beat a humminbird, possibly a 525 series. They are not that expensive, (around $120) but most importantly, they are very easy to set up, and very reliable. They have all the features that you are looking for, and they are very durable.

I have a humminbird 565 that I got off of ebay new in the box for $100.00 shipped to my door. It took me a few weeks to find a deal so have patience and a deal will come along. You can also put a wanted ad in the swap/classifieds section here on crappie.com.
