I guess I will have to rethink my plans on going to Lake Conway this week now. Maybe the rain won't mess things up too bad.

If the rain doesn't muddy it up too bad, I will try it Sunday afternoon! If not there, will try Gator Pond again at Dagmar. I will give a report either way.

It should be ON in full force for the next few days, the water temp will rise very quickly there.

Well, now that we got some answers for Peckerwood, what about Merrisach? Did anyone fish Merrisach this past weekend? I know there were a few talking about going.

I never made it to Merrisach like I had planned, but me and a buddy did pretty good on a private reservoir. The water was 58 degrees and the fish were in 3 foot of water. We kept 42 and they weighed 53 lbs.

Looks like there's plenty of catchin' going on over that way. Can't wait to head that way in a few weeks...

It rained 2" in DeWitt and a little bit more than that in Stuttgart. I am sure that the rain raised the water level a little and made it muddy.
