You might give Lake Leatherwood a try as its just outside Eureka and would provide some good bank fishing. My top pick though would be to hook up with JT Crappie Guide and let him take the whole crew out on Beaver.

Hey folks, going to be in Eureka Springs this weekend with my wife and kids and they want to do some fishin. I guess I'm a lucky guy. Won't have a boat so I was wondering if you all had any suggestions? Any place with fairly easy access to do some bank fishing. Prefer crappie but anything they could catch would be great. I know nothing about trout fishing and its regulations so would probably steer clear of that unless you have some good ideas. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the tip Gooch. I would love to take them out with a good guide but right now I just can't swing the extra $$$
Lake Leatherwood would be a great choice! There is a trail that circles the lake and multiple places to fish along it. I would recommend fishing right from the dam though for crappie. Take some silver shineee hineees made by Arkie which can be bought at any local wal-mart or some minnows. Fish them 10' to 20' off the dam and you should catch some!

I have camped there before. Not a bad park durring the day, but can get a little rough and rowdy at night. Lots of bikers like it there too. We had no problems, just a little noisy. Only fish I caught bank fishing were perch and gills and no size to em.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
