I plan on going next weekend but have not heard a report in two weeks. Two weeks ago the crappie weren't biting but the catfish sure did eat well. I would like to hear a recent report also.

I had a friend go down there over the weekend. He hung about 30 yo-yo's and caught 14, and they were all really good fish. Most people just catching a few. The east end of the lake is still muddy, and from the looks of the forecast, the rest of the lake may soon be in the same shape. He said that several people came in before dark and started hanging yo-yo's. Said the crappie had been really biting at night.

Where are some of the better spots to fish on this lake?

Well did anyone fish old town last weekend. I assume that will be one of the few lakes in that area that is not flooded by the Mississippi. Would like to get a report if anybody has heard anything.
