Nitrogerk, this is my first time on this site. I watch it pretty regular just to see what the crappie men are doing in the area. However I do fish Horseshoe regular. I haven't fished it since this past weekend, both days were pretty hard fishing but you could pick up a mess. This weekend looks kind of hohum though calling for rain and snow for friday and saturday. I like to fish the piers this time of year versus trolling I just like the up close and personal action of working a jigpole in and around the piers. I caught fish 3' to 5' deep on the piers last saturday morning. The bite was good early and late not too much in the middle of the day. I also like to flip an ultra lite under the piers with a spinner swap you colors around til you find the one they like. Sunday afternoon caught eighteen decent ones trolling about 16' to 17'. Good luck!
Don't rip er mouth,
