The Red it too low to motor in from Nimho this time of year, but the roads should be open now. This time of year the crappie are going to be holding close to the outside edges of the cypress trees in about 5 feet of water. Closer to spring, you need to start fishing the back side of the trees jigging around the cypress knees.
