    Default Winter Action on Greeson

Fished a little with Jeff (skeeterjeff) and Bill (his brother) yesterday. The water temp was 46 and I fully expected to catch'em deep, deep, deep. Much to our surprise they were holding at 15-18' in 25' of water. My calendar is fairly open and I need pictures for my website. So, if any of you got some time, give me a call and we'll see what we can do about catching that big monster slab that usually shows up during the winter months.

I'll be leaving this evening for Greeson. We have a group staying at Swaha and I will be fishing in the morning. I'm easy to find, just look for the YELLOW boat. I'll start around Daisy somewhere. Hope to see you tomorrow.

    Nice catch Darryl!
It's been tough here as well. We caught 20 one day last week, but that is probably as good as it's going to get for a while. I had one day we caught 3!
Swepco is going to be great next month, you should come on up for that and fish with me!

Great looking mess of fish brother. Did you ever get that heater fixed in your boat? May have to come down this weekend and bring the space heater and do some nightstalking off a deep water dock on Hamiton I have access to directly across from Fishermans Wharf

Hey Darryl, if you want to actually put some fish in the boat, you'd better leave ol' Goocher at the dock...:D

Good lookin' mess of slabs. Looks like there's some big 'uns in there. Maybe I can find time to stroll down that way and look you up sometime soon. I still have a grudge to settle with those Greeson crappie...

Man, I can catch'em on Greeson even with the Goochmeister in the boat and it'll be my pleasure to help you settle that grudge. Come on down. Jerry, Jim and I cut, hauled and built 8 bamboo condos today and even spent a few hours on the water. I have to admit --
IT WAS COLD! We caught some fish though. Sixteen degrees first thing this moring and about 32 when we hit the water. I just love my new saying, "We did it when nobody else did." Even if you don't catch any fish you still have bragging rights, lol.
