Thread: Cane Creek Thank You

Chris just want to thank you and Jerry for organizing the get together today at Cane Creek. It was great fun and good to meet new folks. Let's do it again soon. Wish I could have stuck around for the fish fry but had to hit it on back to Little Rock.

Good Job Chris and Jerry. Those CC crappie anre unique. They fight like river crappie. The colors are unusual and pretty.
It was great to see old freinds and make new ones.

I will echo the same. Thank you Chris and Jerry for a great time on your awesome water. I am truly impressed with the size and health of your crappies. Your pictures have always been good but don't begin to give the fish justice as to how thick and beautiful they are. The fish fry was first-rate.

I am with Darryl, these are some awesome fish. When the smallest fish you catch is 12" I think you have had a good day. Chris and Jerry thanks for hosting the gathering, it was nice being to put faces to the screen names that post on here. I am looking forward to the next trip down to Cane Creek. Here are a few pictures, the biggest one was 2.2lbs. The 11 weighed 18.5lbs.

I really had a good time this weekend and got to meet some new friends and visit with old friends. Even though the fishing was slow the quality of fish was great. Hope to see y'all back at CC sometimes. I emailed my pics to Chris to post.

Thanks a bunch Chris and Jerry the fish fry was great. Chet and I had a great time. We got to meet some new folks and see some good friends and make some new ones. Darryl is right about the fish, pictures don't do them justice. Cane Creek is an awesome place to fish for sure.

I really enjoyed the trip and you will be seeing more of me at Cane Creek. Maybe the next time we can take some of the load of Chris and Jerry and help with planning and cooking; or maybe not; they did such an awesome job. Thanks again fellows

For those of you that I didn't get to meet, I was in the small 13' fiberglass boat with the Nissan 18hp on back. (I was the fat sexy one in the back).

We caught one brim and one bass and used both as minnows but we had a great time. I wish we could have stayed to meet more of you.

I look forward to more get togethers in the future.

Adrian, I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you. Glad you got to come down, wish the fish had cooperated more. If your ever back down to CC and see me out there come up and visit.
