    Default Conway

Crappie are starting to bite pretty regular at Conway. I went yesterday for about 2 hours and did well on both minnows and jigs about 2 1/2 - 3 ft around the pad stalks next to the channels. The only problem with minnows was the yellow bass tend to hit them more than the crappie. I used a red/white/chart skirt jig with 1/16th ounce orange head.

Yep, I'd say that it's great all winter long. And, Dan is the man when it comes to the reports, hot baits, and rosie reds.

Thanks for the report Coats. Good to hear from you again. We'll have to be sure to get in an afternoon of fishing this winter...
