Default A Really special day on the lake

My brother and I went to Cane Creek today. We only had 10 keepers but they were all good. The 10 weighed 19lb. 5oz. But the special part was my brothers only keeper of the day was 3lb. 2oz., it was huge. I'm really proud he caught this hawg, it's going on the wall. Counting his big one we had 4 over 2lb.

    This mornings sunrise.

The hawg right after the catch, you can tell what I focused on.

Randybendham with a couple of nice crappie.

My brother Rufus with his trophy.

    Another shot of the hawg.

    Todays catch.

My Grandson Hunter with the hawg.

I really enjoyed today, if I couldn't catch a 3 lber, I'm glad my brother did. Hope everyone had a great day.

    Jerry,
Congrats on the big ol' hawg. I had a great time out there with everyone. I didn't get any good shots of bobberwatcher. (kinda glad, he might've broke my cell phone camera. I wish they would have bitten a little harder. I felt sorry for ol' CEB till I saw his haul from the lil' maumelle. stinker out fished us in numbers, but you got him on weight. I might would trade that 3 lb'er for those 9 I caught. You may consider takin' some scales off his cheek & sending it to the game & fish. you can get a pin for crappie that are over 3 pounds. Congrats again Rufus!!

Sounds like it was a tough day fishin'...but, all of y'all conquered! That's a heck of a CC crappie your brother caught. Wish I'd been there to see it in person...

And can I say....I can't wait 'till next weekend!.

Wow, what a hawg!!! Sounds like everyone did better than I did today. Jerry really put it on me (don't tell him I've admitted it). I zigged, he zagged, I was behind the eight ball all day and couldn't catch up. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. By the way, did I say, "THAT'S A HAWG." Awesome catch!!! I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight.

Looks like I missed a good weekend of fishing. That's a fish to be proud of.

Allen he caught that one just a little after you left. You were probably loading up about then. Right where you stopped and told us goodbye.
