I actually took a day off work today and went bowhunting for a couple hours. Finally, after wiping sweat for the last time around 9 am, I decided to finish my "chores" around the camp and head home. Hooked up to the boat and hit Tri-County around 4:30 or so. Ended up catching 6 fairly nice ones. (Didn't bring my ice chest so turned them all back.) Caught 5 of them on a red/chartruse tube jig and the biggest came off a gold kastmaster spoon. Sure was nice to be on the water with a fishy smell on my hands :D

A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Now see, if you hadn't wasted that couple hours on huntin', you wouldn't have forgotten the cooler...and you probably would have caught about 25...![]()
I actually had figured I wouldn't catch a fish. Man, I must be getting better at catching fish.. :D
Hunting, isn't that when you're running and gunning from brushpile to brushpile finding the hungry crappie?
