I just call millwood to get the lake level. At the end of the report they give an update. They are fixing to pull the lake down 3 feet delow lake level. To kill some of grasses. couple of weeks ago the main river chanel was still a little muddy. Good luck!

    Default Millwood

My wife and I just returned from Millwood this weekend. The water was already down about 2 ft. We caught about 20 crappie over 2 days. The problem was that the 2 to 4 lb catfish had envaded our crappie area (if you consider that a problem). We caught several of those on minnows. The weather was terrible on Sunday. On Sunday the fish were extremely shallow (2 to 4 ft) On Saturday the fish were 10 to 12 ft. If you can find timber just off of the channel, you will find the crappie. On a side note, my wife was bass fishing around Jack's Isle and landed a large bass (8 lbs) the bass came unbuttoned and the hook went through her hand. PM me, I will be happy to share any info I have.

    Michael
