Default Bream trip almost a bust

Went to a lake we used to hammer the Crappie in yesterday. Had always seen Bream beds all over on electronics . May be too early this far north, but never saw a bed. Saw tons on tiny Crappie on brush but all small. Moved out to open water just to look and found a few monstas on pole timber. Here is a couple I caught on a trash jig. They were really poor after the spawn. Released them, maybe go look for them next spring.

Fish to be caught here but nothing like it usually is this time of year ! Definitely a lot of beds still not touched this year.
