Flathead pictures from today
Here is the 41 lber my son and I caught on a noodle at Nimrod. We were using noodles baited with Green Sunfish last night. This is our biggest fish this year. The first trip out other than pole fishing.:D Thanks again for help downloading pictures David.

Now thats what I'am talking about!! Thats a great fish, we have caught a few at Bull Shoals in the past and it always amazing that a fish can get that big. Thanks for the pics.

Did he eat the perch or the ENTIRE NOODLE? I grew up around Kaw Lake in Oklahoma where they were common to be caught about this size....one/two each week maybe....they are a LOT of fun, and I'm glad you guys got to experience it....when is the beer batter fish fry?

MM , We have caught quite a few good fish using different methods over the years. I use nets in winter, caught them up to 60 lbs using snagging rods, up to 33 lbs on Bass rods , and this 41 the biggest on noodles. Biggest noodle catch before this was a 36 lber. Most fun is taking a kid and watching them pull up a biggun.Originally Posted by minnowman

He was wanting to go out and try fishing for bigguns with Bass Rods again after pulling this one in.:D
