We have a very pronounced algae bloom on our lake every year. It looks a lot like pea soup. I think this really attracts heat, & combined with the shallowness of the lake, makes it heat up real quick. It drops off 6-8 degrees during the night, but it is always real hot in the late summer. It has a tendency to make most of the fish real lethargic, they just don't want to move very much. May be why I'm launchin condos instead of fishing.
