Ok,
here are some pics of the launching of the boo. I had to find the deepest water on the lake, which wound up being around 6'.
Here's me manhandling the boo.
Here's an action shot of the boo sinking.
The best image of all, the brushpile showing up on the depth finder, marked by the gps.
My next mission will be to make some of the concrete mats with the 2 blocks criss/crossed & boo stuffed in between them. don't know exactly where I'll put those. I had the wife & kids go out with me to do these fishin' chores. If anyone wants to do some of this, I'll be glad to come help, just let me bring my gps with me to mark the piles.
Looks good Randy, Hopefully they will pay off for you.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Man, that's some warm water. I bet they'll be underneath your condo like an umbrella.
I think I got one...
Looks like you got it under control.Slabbandit and I are planning on putting out stakebeds this weekend.

Good lookin condo's "Gumby"
Good point. Randy, you putting those condo's in your bathtub or something? :DOriginally Posted by Woohdog
We have a very pronounced algae bloom on our lake every year. It looks a lot like pea soup. I think this really attracts heat, & combined with the shallowness of the lake, makes it heat up real quick. It drops off 6-8 degrees during the night, but it is always real hot in the late summer. It has a tendency to make most of the fish real lethargic, they just don't want to move very much. May be why I'm launchin condos instead of fishing.
Randy , hot water does'nt hold as much oxygen and algae bloom will use up lots of it also. The fish will go nearly dormaint if the oxygen content gets too low.Originally Posted by randybenham
