Thread: Motor ? followup

Hi guys, thanks for the info about storing my outboard. I understand about using some fuel stablizer but I need to know what you mean by fogging the motor. Do you spray it down with WD40 or something like that? I hate to sound dumb, but I never stored an engine over winter other than my mower. Thanks.

Dave, its a spray can you can buy at any marine shop or Walmart might have it, you spray it in your carbs. while its running. There is different kinds for fuel injecters, depends on if you have carbs. or fuel injecters. If you have a boat shop close by they can help you with what to buy, however Walley World would be cheaper.
